Choice Rotations Contact Information
The following is a list of contact people for Choice Rotation experiences at base sites. It is the student's responsibility to make arrangements for their Choice Rotation and to notify the PCAC Coordinator at their base hospital.
Remember that the requirements for the choice rotation are:
- PCAC Choice rotations must offer the student a minimum of 40% time in an ambulatory setting (4 1/2 days per week in an office or other outpatient setting).
- The Choice rotation may be taken at any MSUCOM base hospital offering the PCAC. The student, however, will be required to return to their base hospital for all scheduled PCAC didactic sessions.
- Students choosing to do choice rotations outside their base hospitals must obtain an appropriate ID from that hospital.
- PCAC Choice Rotations must be 4 weeks in length-one service, one hospital, one block.
Once you have negotiated your Choice rotation, you need to complete the PCAC Specialty and Choice Rotation Application form. The hospitals (both base hospital and the site of the Choice Rotation) then need to sign the form and send it to the Clinical Clerkship Office so it can be recorded on your schedule.
